  • Review my writing, please?

Brandon and Lauren were walking along the beach in Cabo after only a couple short hours of sleep. It was early morning, a little before seven o'clock, and the sun was making its steady ascension into the purple-trimmed sky. They stopped and stood still, watching the sun's labored rise. Brandon's arm held firmly around Lauren's waist and she had a glowing smile found its way onto her cheeks. He kissed her neck and closed his eyes peacefully, letting the breeze brush against his face. "I'm so lucky," he said quietly, breaking their long-standing silence. She turned around in his arms and faced him. He tilted her chin upward towards his mouth and he encased hers with a kiss, letting his hands cup her waist. The sound of the waves crashing onto the shore and the birds singing completed the perfectness of the moment. Brandon pulled back and smiled at her, knowing words couldn't possibly add anything more to the moment. She laid her head against his chest and let his beating heart drown out all the other background noise the beach provided. As the sun lit up the sky, Brandon pulled her back from him and took her hands in his. His fingers danced around her engagement ring and he smiled. "It looks great on your finger," he said. Lauren nodded, "Sure does." She looked up at him, letting her eyes do all the smiling. "I love you so much and I know I'm far from perfect," he started, "but I hope you know how much you mean to me. I hope you always know just how I love you and I always you always feel special and happy because of me." The emotion of the moment took Lauren by surprise and she felt her eyes feel with tears. "You know you're the best thing to ever happen to me, right?" he asked. She just nodded as a tear slipped down her sun-brushed cheek. He raised his thumb to her face and brushed the tear away, catching the second one before it had a chance to fall. He tilted his head down until his lips met hers and held them there for a long moment. They became lost in the moment and Brandon let his tongue slip gently into her mouth. It wasn't wet or sloppy, however. The kiss still held all of its gentle easiness. Lauren removed herself from the kiss, leaving Brandon hungry for more of her. His thumb found the tiny strap on her flowing dress and wandered over it. He smiled and nodded back towards their condo. She nodded in silent agreement and they walked hand in hand back to the beachfront estate. As soon as they were inside, his hands were working their way across her physique. They stumbled their way into the bedroom and he laid her down on the bed. As his weight rested over her, her hands found the protruding elastic band of his boxers. Her hands traveled across the band and then below, finding the button of his jeans. She took a few moments to unclasp it and then swiftly removed the coarse blue pants. They fell to the floor with a soft thud.

What do you think? Any and all comments are appreciated. Thanks!

  • What pills would be prescribed?

If you received a graze gunshot wound to the thigh and lost a good bit of blood, what medicine would the doctor most probably prescribe? I know they would give you something for pain, but wouldn't they also give you something for preventing infection? I'm writing a story and would like to know. Thank you :)

  • How much blood would you lose if...?

How much blood would you lose if a bullet grazed your thigh? It was a handgun. I'm not sure of the caliber. It didn't penetrate the femoral artery or any bones. It was just a graze wound. I just want an approximate number on the amount of blood one would lose. Also, would you need to receive a blood transfusion?

  • Should I get on a birth control pill?

I'm 15 years old. I've had my period since I was 11. It's always been irregular. I would sometimes skip periods for 9 months at a time. I did that twice. My period last eight days. I have really big clots that hurt. I have cramps in my legs and back. I feel absolutely drained for eight days and I have a very short cycle. Sometimes, I even have two periods in a month. It's really hard for me to deal with. I feel like a completely different person these eight days and I feel worried to go anywhere because of the clots I have. They're so big that I have to go to the bathroom every two hours at least so that I won't ruin my pad. I get really white sometimes from losing so much blood on my period. I'm underweight. Should I get on the pill? Would a doctor even give it me?

  • Short, lighter period less than two weeks ago. Now I'm bleeding again?

I had a shorter, lighter period about 11 days ago. Today, I started having some brownish blood come out and now it's just red. It's pretty light, but it's heavier than spotting, at least any I've ever had before. I don't know what to do. Should I go to the doctor? I'm really thin and my period is irregular a lot of the time. My cycle is also usually really short, but this is way shorter than normal.

  • I have a question about the ACT?

I took the ACT in December of 2008. I was in the middle of 9th grade at that point. Here are what my scores were:

    Composite : 26

    English : 25

    Mathematics : 23

    Reading : 32

    Science : 25

This was in the 9th grade and now I'm in the 10th and I plan on taking it in December. Since I've taken it, I've finished Algebra 2 and started Geometry. I've finished English 1 and started English 2. I've finished and began taking Chemistry. I'm a straight A student who works really hard. I'm wondering just about how much I can expect my score to improve. I don't want to set my sights too high and get disappointed. I'm hoping, however, to at least improve by a point or two.

  • I need some music suggestions?

I like Ingram Hill, 12 Stones, Staind, Nickelback, Red Car Wire, Graham Colton Band, Nevershoutnever!, and a lot more. The bands/singers don't have to be in the same genre of any of these bands. I like pretty much anything. I know a lot of bands and I want some new ones to listen to. Just tell me what you like. I'll give best answer to the person who I like the most of the bands they suggest. You can say any bands you like. I'd love to hear them because I might not know about them and I might just like them too. It's a really easy question so just help me out. Thanks!

  • Not sure. Normal period or not?

I started at 12. I didn't have another period until the summer after 8th grade. Then, I had three. One in May, one in June, and one in July. I didn't have another until the summer before 10th grade. I've had four periods now. They usually last 5 or 6 days, but this one is already on its 8th day. I'm very skinny, but I'm not anorexic or bulimic. It's kind of scaring me because I've never had a period last this long and I'll stop bleeding in the afternoon and then start again in the morning. I'm not sure whether my worrying is justified. I know that a lot of time when you first start, it's irregular, but does that count for me even if I did first have my period 3 years ago? I've only had eight period in three years. My cycle is also really short. From the time when one period ends, I usually only have 21 days until the next one begins. Should I be worried? Is this normal? What can I do?

  • I'm having computer problems?

My computer has been having problems for about 3 months. It started off being that I couldn't turn it off because if I did, the computer would come back on like it was new, with all my pictures, favorites, backgrounds, and everything else gone. All my login information was gone and it was like I just bought the computer. Then recently I had press the button several times to get it to come on; it was like it wouldn't come on with the normal push that I give the button. Last night, I was having problems with it so I closed it. I have a laptop. I opened it and it acted like it was going to come on and everything, but right when it went to load the password screen, it just went to a blue colored screen and I could see my mouse and everything, but I couldn't get onto the computer. It did that until around 12 today. It came on like it always does then, but like it was brand new again. The internet has been freezing up a lot and it won't let me download the new Adobe Flash Player because everytime I get to the page it freezes up and closes out of it. I've tried over 10 times. I turned it off twice and it's still doing this. What could be wrong?

  • I'm taking Chemistry this year..?

I'm taking Chemistry this year and the teacher I have for it is a teacher I like. She usually tries to help the students out and I can usually understand her explanations. I am a smart student, but big complex problems just make my brain hurt. I can usually work through them and I am a straight A student. I'm worried about Chemistry ruining all that. I want to do good, but I'm worried I won't understand it. Can someone just give me their views on Chemistry?

  • Are these size clots normal?

I'm a virgin. I'm only 15 years old and I get really big clots during my period. They're as big as putting your forefinger and thumb together into a circle shape, sometimes bigger. I have ovarian cramps throughout my period, but they worsen whenever a clot is about to pass. I can feel when I have a clot, because I start hurting. I don't know if it's normal or not. It just seems really big. What should I do about it? My period last 6 days and I usually have spotting for about a week before my period. The flow I have is average, I think. I'm not really sure if it's average or heavy since I don't really know how much anyone else bleeds. My mom has a lot of trouble with her period, to the point where she used 12 tampons in about 3 hours. I don't want to be like that. Some advice, please?

  • Would you find this guy guilty or not?

Brandon Roxom was a troubled teen. His parents died when he was 10 and he got in with a bad crew. He fell in love with a girl and she left him for another guy. He wanted to talk to her so he started calling a lot and then his "crew" told him they'd take care of her. They put her in the hospital twice, each time him telling them to leave her alone. The girl, Macie, however thought Brandon was the one doing it. She got a restraining order against him. He tried to call her and tell her that it wasn't him. She wouldn't answer so one day while she was running, he decided he would run into her and get on top of her so she couldn't go anywhere and had to listen to him. It turns out that she had a severe bone disease and she broke her rib and it punctured her lung, killing her. He's turned his life around. He's going to school to be a lawyer now and he's in love with a new girl. If you were on the jury, would you return a guilty or not guilty verdict? Thanks.

If a person is a lawyer for a big firm and they make about $175,000 a year, what social class would you say they belong in? They're from Mississippi, United States. Any help at all is appreciated. And, no, I'm not bragging about myself. This isn't even about me. I just need to know. Thanks!

  • What is the third day of your period like?

I just wanted to hear from everyone. I'm on my third day right now. My period typically lasts five or six days. My second day is usually worst and then the third is a bit lighter, and then after that it usually slows down quite a bit. What is everyone else's like?

  • Slight brown spotting between periods?

I've had a drop or two or brownish colored blood. I should be starting my period in about a week if it's normal. I do sometimes have an irregular period, but I just want to know if this spotting is normal or not.
