Has anyone had a baby who all of sudden should no interest to his bottle?

Could he be teething? or have an ear infection?

It sounds like you're feeding him an awful lot of solids throughout the day. Six tablespoons of cereal, 1 of fruit, and a jar of food is quite a bit for a baby that has just recently started on solids. This is probably why he's refusing his bottles. He's getting too full on solid foods and not leaving any room for the important stuff. At his age he needs AT LEAST 24 oz. of formula. If he is not getting that the he's not getting all the nutrition he needs.

Cut out some of the solid food and offer formula FIRST. If he doesn't take the bottle do not give in/up and offer solids. He won't starve himself so he will drink his formula if he's hungry. Also, have you tried offering it in a sippy cup? He may be weaning himself off the actual bottle so try a soft spout sippy.

When my son had an ear infection he would not drink his bottle and they said its because when they swallow it hurts their ears! Also when they've been teething they'll deny the bottle even in the middle of the night! Maybe this is a good opportunity to try the sippy cup a little!

My son is 4 months, doesn't even eat solids, and is doing that with his bottle too. He's not crying for food in between, and I see no teeth yet.

I asked to the doctor about it today; She weighed him and he's still gaining like crazy. She said everything looks fine, and if he doesn't seem bothered in between feedings, then just leave it be. They go through phases.

If your son seems content in between feedings and is not losing weight, then I would say he's going through a phase too! Make an appointment with your doctor and get him weighed. They'll probably tell you the same mine told me. ; )

My doctor also said that teething takes time. That could be the reason too.

My daughter did that when she started teething..

But it might be the nipple?

Or the kind of bottle?
