How to motivate myself to ...?

lose weight. I always screw up and it feels like I can't do anything?

Any tips to control sugar cravings, or how to keep on track?

    if you have a boyfriend you can try to stay in good shape for him. or you can try to get in shape for an upcoming party or next summer

    loosing weight is a mind over matter game. if your only working out cuz u feel like you have too, your not going to get anywhere.

    EXERCISE

    try making it fun. your more likely to do something if it is

    get yourself excited to go to the gym.

    listen to exciting music befor you go

    (my friend watches his favorite clip of bruce lee to pump himself up to go),

    if your single; think about all the hot guys you'll get to c (if that is something that is pulling you down cuz ur self-conscious of ur weight, dont worry about it, most guys r jst interested in the fact that u r working out)

    workout with friends, less stressful, more fun, and u can encourage each other

    make it part of your day. your more likely to workout if its part of ur day to begin with. sign up for a class, get a dog and take it out for walks, walk to work/school/where ever u go, volunteer ur time

    DIET

    no crazy diets. only eating 1 type of food is never good for u that's final.

    add flavor. most diet foods are so blan, add flavor with fruits, spices, and other little things

    dont make urself go crazy by avoiding ur favorite food. u can have pretty much everything with the right proportions. so yes have a small piece of brownie with frosting, jst dont have much after wards.

    read the proper proportions on your food befor u consider eating.

    never go to the grocery store hungry, ur more likely to buy more food that way.

    CRAVINGS

    when craving a little snack thers plenty u can do.

    have a little treat every now and then. when u hold the cravings in for a long period of time ur going to crash. a little craving now is way better then a huge crash latter (i find a regular bag of 20 M&Ms can cure sugar tooth)

    dont bring ur money. ya money is important, jst dont bring to much of it. ur more likely to spend it on snakes u dont need.

    drink water. alot of times when we crave food, its really liquid we need

    chew gum. get ur mind off food by letting ur mouth go thro the motions of eating instead of actually eating (my friend sudjested this)
