Maslow's hierarchy of need, the NHS and alleviation of poverty are just some of the things that were forwarded due to Social Scientists

i would not think that there are any benefits to society at all from social sciences research. All that is for is for university dons to talk to each other about and has no bearing to the wider society and has never changed anything at all and never will. It is just not that strong or influential to do that. Doesn't the Andrex puppy issue social sciences degrees? He has them on a roll really.
