what is difference between MP3 format sound and windows media audio file?

    They are just different formats, but achieve the same thing.

    Think of it like they are from different manufacturers, like a car. They both use their own methods to compress the music file. MP3s tend to be the most compatiable with most music players.

    They are both use their own techniques to compress music, but windows media files are smaller than mp3s for the same music file..

    Mp3 files do not contain copy protection but Windows Media Files can contain Digital Rights Management.

    i think of the abode windows Media Audio record is a ordinary audio record which could be performed in any stereo. And MP3s can purely be performed with an MP3 participant....i'm uncertain, yet i think of that's what it is.

    mp3 is a compressed format with lower sampling rate.
