If you won the lottery, what would you do to "save the planet"?

Go on let me know, Do you think its better to go for cutting carbon emissions, carbon sinking, education or campaigning?

Personally I'd go for reforestation/permaculture projects.

I would like to do something to get the natural world back into balance. Starting with trees, then other shrubs and plants.

The planet is chemistry in action and everything is directly or indirectly affected by the actions by others such as factors which may upset the normal processes.

Ocean currents in the last ice age affected the circulation around the planet.

It would take more than one individual to save the planet, just considering and just talking about it doesn't help by people with different agendas.

The most serious problem today is the exponential increase in the human population. So I would spend the money supporting all those organisations working to control population levels

It's too late to save this planet now. Don't believe the stupid hype about "going green" and all that other nonsense being advocated by selfish, greedy capitalists. The more you but "green" technologies, the richer THEY become. The truth is there is nothing we can do for our planet now except to wait for the inevitable end of our once lovely and habitable world.

So if I won the lottery I would enjoy life to the fullest before I die. I'd buy nice fast cars and a bike -

    1. Bugatti Veyron

    2. Lamborghini Murcielago LP640

    5. Ducati 1198R

I would also buy a luxury house where I would spend the last few years of my very short life.

We are all going to die.

I think about this all the time. I would keep the winnings in the bank...each year take what I need to live comfortably, (probibly about £15k) and the rest I would invest in other people and companies who know what they are doing about saving the planet. None of the winnings would really be spent, (providing it wasn't only a £10a for 3 numbers lol).

Honestly I would take care of my loved ones. Try to educate others further into going green but, I think we may be too late in saving the world from ourselves.

deepen and widen and dam up all rivers to take excess snowmelting waters and utilize to create hydro electricity .install all houses with 1100 liter oil tanks to store rain water and use to water garden, wash drives , and flush toilets.send a few million of these tanks to affrica india and equatorial countries ,not forgeting some pipeing for infrastructure ,and if you have anything left send it to sonny in cork ireland for a weeks holiday.

Source(s): just my little old brain but if i come back i would aim for college.

sadly as much as i want to save the planet its too late and you will need tons of money to make the whole world to rebuild the world i would keep the money help my family and also give half to charitys :) plus saving the planet may take around 200 years to perfect because thats roughly how long weve been polluting the planet

I'd spend it figuring out what the planet needed saving from. Then I'd be broke.

On a more serious note, I'd spend it researching a way to purify water.

The best way for me would be to never buy a lottery ticket so the multinational corporate industry is not investing my money in companies that destroy the planet in the first place.
