How to Hide a Number Plate on a Picture?

Hi

I'm a real technophobe so please bear with me! I want to advertise my car, I've uploaded photos but don't know how to hide my personal number plate (as it's not for sale ;@)

Any ideas please are most welcome xx

    Well if you have windows xp, then you can open the pic in paint, and colour the number plate......

    You can use the iPhone app HideMyPlate for hiding your numberplate.

    Just draw a black box over it in paint or something.
