I know not everybody likes them, but I'm always loosing auctions at 1AM! If I set my 'snipe' at £650 and the under bidder was only say £120 - will I end up paying £650 anyway or say £130?

Hi I think I know the Identity of the email's I've been getting, but is it possible to get proof? such as Name, Address or IP number? These aren't nasty emails btw. just weird, It's a @live.co.uk address

My Husband set up an email address for my mum (a technophobe) but must have put the wrong date of birth for her! - as you might of guessed she can't remember her password and also can't access her alternative email from her old ISP, Will this software work & are they safe - Any recomendations? Hi, I have a fault with my lighting and would like advice - I DO intend to use an electrician, but I'd like an idea of the cost involved before I do. The problem seems to be with the kitchen and dining room lights (on the same fuse). Both fittings have 3x bulbs in each, If 1x blows the main fuse blows also. Does anyone know what it is (and costs involved)

I need to send 2x pictures from my phone to my pc, but how? I've seen other answers that say instead of putting a number to send it to put an email address instead - but my phone seems to only take numbers - what can i do please??

My husband has been given some money by his grandfather which has allowed us to pay off our mortgage and has left us some money to invest.

We are both in full time employment, and after watching various tv programs on the subject it looks very appealing, also some of the areas i've worked in have had some very attractive property prices....., However it always looks easy on tv doesn't it!

last month i renewed my car tax online, entered my card no. and choose 6 months @ £115, when it arrived it was for 12 months and stated £210 on the disk - I checked online and it is valid for 12 months (it says Date of Liability 01/06/2009), but my account has only been debeted for 6 months rate.

What should i do?

Can anyone help please? I am trying to help Dad uninstall things (very technical term!) on his Windows Me PC, that have been either partially removed / unistalled, (some come back after using System restore).

- Having no joy with Add / remove prog. function.

My dad is visiting me next month & bringing his car with him, He lives in Jersey which is where the car was bought & is registered. He is unsure however as to whether he can use his car during his stay with us, & if not what can he do to be able to use it, as he needs it to drive from the port to where I live.

I have (finally) changed my windows 98 computer for a laptop with xp - My Q. is how do I go about transferring my photo's ect onto the new computer.

I am an absolute novice therefore any advice would be brilliant!
