I don't agree with her 1 bit on the wars or patriot act....But shes right on with that one. Below market rate credit from the FED created the bubble plain and simple.

I think this is incredibly old news and Sarah Palin is jumping on the bandwagon because she thinks she can rally by adopting this view. People are finally waking up to what a disaster the Fed has been and Palin is trying to hijack these people into the Republican party. Make no mistake - the Republicans and their monetary policy are just as much to blame for this as the Fed and the democrats, who have unsustainable ideas about consumption and illogical ideas about giving poor people houses they can't afford and thinking they'll just magically pay for themselves.

Like I said, the housing bubble bursting and the Fed creating the whole mess is really old news, because it was predicted - 5 years ago - in 2004 by Austrian economist Mark Thornton:

And again, in 2006 by another Austrian economist - Peter Schiff. Note, he was laughed at and mocked:

In this video, the guy who didn't predict the collapse is Art Laffer - also known as the economic advisor to President Reagan. So when Republicans tell you their economic policy is better than democrats what they're really saying is that their economic policy is just as ridiculously illogical as democrats.

The role the Fed and the government played in the housing bubble is described in this book: MELTDOWN, by Thomas E. Woods.

These views are espoused by self-described 'libertarians', but many Americans are starting to see their logic. Do not confuse their views with those of someone like Sarah Palin and the Republican party - they are two very different political ideologies.

Libertarians oppose the federal gov't defining marriage, they support ending federal control of abortion (i.e. gov't has no right to approve or deny what someone can do to their body), support free-markets without government input, support decriminalization of drugs, abolishing the patriotic act, and absolutely support complete separation of church and state. That means no prayer in schools and definitely no teaching of intelligent design.

Sarah Palin is STEALING ideas that somebody else came up with and trying to pawn them off as her own for her own political agenda. Please, DO NOT fall for this.

There is no doubt that the FED has been bleeding this country dry. It's no "conspiracy theory". Except for some courageous politicians like Ron Paul (and I guess now Palin) the FED has already taken control of much of the government without being accountable to anyone.

Her and her fellow neo cons will say anything to take the blame off Bush. Who in their sane mind listens to anything that she says? Not anyone that I know. She's over there now in a foreign country ho-ing for money.(That boy Levi was right. She quit her job to go around making money off of lies and hate.) It's like the tabloid rags who pay "sources" for information on celebrities. They don't even care if the information they get from these "sources" are lies.

Not sure what I really think about Palin but anybody attacking the Fed Reserve is doing a good thing.

She has a point. Money was too cheap to borrow.

But I put most of the blame on the unionized bankers and real estate agents.

I find it funny that she is jumping on the Ron Paul band wagon.

Not sure I'm buying it yet.

Maybe she's trying to hijack the fiscal conservatives and get them to support the Republican party again.

The Federal Reserve needs to be abolished.

Source(s): "End the Fed" by Ron Paul!

Wasn't that amusing? Blaming regulation for the deregulation crisis.

People walked out of her speech, including many Americans saying that the "couldn't take any more."
