Which is Better: Having 5 Pages Resumee or 2 Pages with 3- pages appendix?

My CV is about 5 pages, I used to send it as 2 pages contains the main information: Contact, Education, Experiences, Languages, and Skills

and a Three pages appendix contains detailed info about skills, experience (Tasks, References,...) and so on..

shall I have it 5-pages or 2-pages with 3-pages appendix!

    Hi

5 pages is too long. In this climate, with interviewers receiving sometimes 100s of CVs for every job, succinct is better.

At 5 pages, you run the risk of your CV being skimmed over, rather than read. Perhaps not being read at all. Remember that employers want employees who can summarise and 5 pages looks a little like you don't know how.

    However, appendices are fine.

In your main CV, stick to the facts that are DIRECTLY RELEVANT to the job you're applying for. Employers (I'm one) want to see quickly and easily that you match their needs. They don't want to have to search for it.

Make their job easier and you'll do better.

    I hope this helps.
