Why can't I download the Blackberry software update?
Here's the deal, I'm trying to download the new update that lets you record video w/ your blackberry. It went well, up until the Blackberry Application Loader opens. It doesn't do anything, it just shows this text:
You cannot update your software using this ytem as your device is currently activated on Blackberry Enterprise Server or Blackberry Proffesional Software. Please contact your administrator for updates. Or check for updates from your carrier service provider: https://www.blackberry.com/hhupgrade
PLEASE HELP, I want o record videos, so I could put my 16 gigabyte SD card to good use.
My phone was not bought, it was my dad's old work Blackberry Curve 8330, and when he got the bold, he gave it to me.

Dude,
1) if u have BES only your IT admin can update the software. And
2) you should never go directly to blackberry.com but to your wireless carrier page, they have OSes that are written specifically for their options
