Agony of Christ help.?

I have to do this "thing" about Agony of Christ.

But I don't know which part of The Bible it's in.

If anyone can help me with this, that would be great.

Please list the chapter and "vs". (whatever vs might be)

P/S: I'm not Catholic. This is an assignment I have to work on. I have no other choice.

P/S/S: I don't know anything about The Bible.

Thanks in advance.

Update:

Hey Nick, Luke 22:43, Matthew 26:36-46, and Mark 14:32-41.

Whats 22:43?

Line 22 to line 43?

What about 26:36-46?

I'm so confused.

Update 2:

I know Frankie.

It's an english class.

And every week, we have to do a research about a "story" or a myth that is bible-related.

A research/summary is due every friday.

This is so stupid.

Read the book of Luke from chapter 23. I am surprised that you have been given an assignment on a topic about which you know nothing at all. If you are still in school assignments usually follow the teaching of the subject. Did you miss ALL of the lessons or something. Haven't you checked with the other students to find out what research you can do?

This sounds as ridiculous as giving a canvas, brushes and paints to someone who has never, ever been taught to paint then telling them to paint a picture of Buckingham Palace.

    Luke 22:43, Matthew 26:36-46, and Mark 14:32-41.

The Agony of Christ is a.k.a. Agony in the Garden, and occurs after the Last Supper and before Jesus' Arrest.

During this time, he knows what is going to happen to him, and is torn between his human nature of wanting to live and his divine purpose. Of course, Christ accepts the will of his Father. Notably, Christ also sweats blood during this event.

You probably mean the passion of the Christ. Check the endings of Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John.

  • Just go rent The Passion of the Christ, and sit yourself down with a tub of popcorn and a soda.

You could just read John 19, but watching the flesh ripped from his body is more exciting.

I think its between genisis and revalations... somewhere. Oh wait, new testament. It's between Mathew and Revelations.

That's all I know about the bible.
