The website is very neat and pretty and they are selling a lot of cool stuff and I wanted to see if anyone has used it? It's circuspop.com, I think it's new. They have lots of friends on facebook so it looks popular but idk?

when looking for information I find the best thing to do is a google news or blog search. Here's what I found out about circuspop:

    From their own website:

CircusPop is a new online marketplace offering the lowest prices on the latest brand name merchandise. By using a pay-per-bid, “Dutch” auction model, prices on CircusPop are literally always falling. Consumers pay $0.75 for each bid they place on a wide range of products from consumer electronics to sporting goods to gift cards. Prices drop with every bid, so the more people who participate the lower the prices. CircusPop stands behind its prices and will return any bids that don’t reveal the lowest prices. Adding to the excitement, each week randomly selected auctions experience a “price plunge,” whereby the auction price freefalls to between 50% and 100% off.

But CircusPop is more than just low prices, it’s about people, and we are fundamentally devoted to our customers. If you ever have any questions, feedback or issues, please don't hesitate to contact us. We can be reached via email at support@circuspop.com. or by telephone at 1-800-POP-8105.

CircusPop is a Silicon Valley-based company founded by three Stanford Graduate School of Business alumni. The company is backed by an experienced board including a prominent Hollywood executive, the founder of an iconic retailer and a tech entrepreneur who took her company public on the NASDAQ

here are two other sites that wrote about them:

    http://www.pennyauctionwatch.com/2009/09/circuspop...

    http://penny-auction-insider.blogspot.com/2009/09/...

Basically the site charges people to reveal the price of an item and when you do it goes down 25 cents.

I have not used it but just went there and saw that a TV just sold for like $80 less than the price on Amazon.

i dig it - it's a "reverse auction" you have to pay to see the price, but they say they guarantee the price will be lower than anywhere else...hmm, it seems they haven't sold many things but i think it is a new site. They have a place where you can see what they sold - called ended auctions.

i see only five ended auctions - looks like the haven't sold a lot of stuff yet - their blog says they opened for business last week.

I checked out the site today - really like the balloon logo. All in all clean looking site. I haven't tried it myself though...would be interested in seeing if anyone is actually getting good deals here.

hi, based what you're in seek of there are some good web content accessible. in case you're in seek of homestead progression, redesigning, kit etc...there is one referred to as Blue Collar Auctions. it is reminiscent of eBay yet way decrease priced! somewhat worth a try. :-)
