My sink is clogged in my kitchen?

This will work better than any commercial product. While boiling a very large pot of water, take some baking soda and pack about a cup into the clogged drain, maybe more if you can get it into the drain. Then pour about 3 cups of 'white' vinegar into the drain, this will cause a chemical reaction and start foaming and 'eat' at the clog. Let it sit for at least a half hour to an hour. If it stops foaming (you can hear it working) add some more of each. After the waiting period pour boiling water down the drain. This will work very well I have done it to my drains and do it periodically for preventitive maintanance.

If that doesn't work take a 'drain snake' and run it down the drain, you can probably rent one for an hour or two from a tool rental center for very cheap.

I think the baking soda and vinegar-boiling water trick will do the job.

I am lucky enough to have three older sisters.I know you can do this. It will be a little dirty, but effective. Simply loosen the U shaped catch beneath the sink. Take it off and clean well. Reattach it and use some DRANO Foaming action. Run HOT water immediately afterward and you will be a happy camper..

Ok so my sink is clogged in my kitchen... i dont know what to do to get it unclogged. I have tried draino.. draino max neither worked. does anyone have any suggestions before i have to call a plumber.. I'm a girl and we just dont mess with this kind of stuff so i need help.. please :)

if drano didnt work then the pipe under the sink needs to be removed and cleaned out . there is probably besides just normal stuff stuck in the pipe. call a plumber or get someone that knows what to do to do it for you

All good answers so far. I would add one thing to Rambo's answer. Boil the vinegar first. With the heat it works better.

I pour liquid bleach straight out of the bottle in my drains when they are slow let it soak awhile then flush with water.Works for me.
