My lower back has been hurting on both sides about where my kidneys are. I think ihave a kidney infection.. Is there anything i can do at home without having to go to doctor? Something over the counter?

Ok so i'm not so good at the baking thing... its not because i dont want to do it its just because i dont know how to do it. I'm really ready to start learning. i'm 26 years old and i think its time i learned how to bake.. what better opprotunity than to bake my 2 sisters birthday cakes... this is going to be a surprise as both of them know i'm not a cook!!! My older sister will be turning 31 and my baby sister will be turning 10 and i'm throwing them both a surprise birthday party on saturday and i need to learn how to make a homeade cake. so if anyone has any good recipes or ideas if you dont mind sharing them i would appreciate it :) Thank you and God bless!!! My 7 year old little boy is in the first grade and seems like he is struggling with reading. He does great with every other subject but this. I have had a confrence with his teacher who seems like she dosent care about anything. I have done alot of research about dyslexia and he fits all of the signs and symptoms for this. The problem is i have found a place in fort worth to have him diagnosed and tested but the teacher said even if he was diagnosed they dont have any programs and he wouldnt get special treatment for this.... What do i do?

Ok so my sink is clogged in my kitchen... i dont know what to do to get it unclogged. I have tried draino.. draino max neither worked. does anyone have any suggestions before i have to call a plumber.. I'm a girl and we just dont mess with this kind of stuff so i need help.. please :)

I'm 25 years old and my dad and i dont have a typical relationship. ever since i've known him he's been an alcoholic and most recently i found out that he's been on drugs for a while. I love my father very much but i'm tired of his ways! he is very abusive when he drinks he says things that he cannot take back and does things that are unforgivable. I have tried several times to break contact with him because he just breaks me down when i'm around him. I have never felt like i was ever apart of the family i have always felt so different from everyone. They all like to drink and party and cause drama andi'm just the opposite. Its embarrassing to have a family like mine! Most recently i was sick and not feeling well and my dad asked me to come for a bbq with my younger bro who is like 21 and his girlfriend and then my dads girlfriend was going ot be there well i declined cause i was sick well shorty after they went my bro showed up at my house beat up my dad got drunk and started a fight and beat my brother up. well i was trying to calm my bro down and figure out what the heck is goin on. well in the mean time i get a call from the police dept they had my dad pulled over and detained for dwi and wanted me to come and get him. to my better judment i decided to get him and take him back home. well i did and he started in on me telling me he hated me he wished i'd die he never loved me i shoudl have died at birth. just a bunch of stuff that i may never forgive him for. i ended up calling the police back and having him arrested. I have decided i no longer want a relationship with my dad. I have a 7 year old little boy that i have to think of and i dont want him to know this kind of lifestyle. do you think i'm wrong for keeping my son away and throwing my dad out of my life?

ok so i have a 4 year old son and i babysit everyday 3 extra kids. Im finding it very hard to keep my house cleaned. I hate doing the dishes and doing the laundry. I'm finding i'm getting very overwhelmed. I was wondering if anyone had any advice on how to get more organized and an easier way to keep my house cleaner. only serious advice please.

Ok so my son wanted to play soccer this year. the only problem was they had no coaches and i pretty much had no choice but to be a coach or my son and his friends couldnt play. I have no clue what i'm doing and need serioius help. any one that knows any drills or anything i can do i cant afford to buy any books on this and i'm clueless. only serious help

i have a 4 year old little boy (tyler vance cameron) he's the cutest thing. He just dont listen to me. For the most part he is pretty good when its just me and my husband and him. I mean he's not wild and out of control then. but when i ask him to clean his room or do something he tells me no. Time outs havent been working and i hate spanking him. he's an only child i'm not having anymore but i babysit througout the day. When someone comes over he starts acting up really bad. I think its because he knows i wont dicipline him in front of our guests. I need help i dont know whta to do with him and i'm about to loose my mind. Please anyone with any advice i'm listening.

my father is a meth addict. and i'm slowly watching him ruin his life and kill himself. my father used to be a good man with a good job and had a good life. i dont know when he began to use drugs but now it is very clear he is. He is on probation and they never drug test him i'm going after xmas to talk to his probation officer about getting him some help. He's about to be in trouble anyway if he dosent start reporting but he dosent care. I dont know what else to do i know he is grown and can make his own decision but i cant stand by and do nothing. He has quit his job and refuses to pay child support for my 5 year old half sister and refuses to have anything to do with her or me and my sister. He gives my brother drugs who is 18 with 3 kids he is ruining not only his life but my brothers as well. my question is is it wrong what i'm doing should i jsut mind my own business and let him kill himself or should i go to his probation officer and if so what do i say. please help me.

my husband will be 24 on jan 1st. I'm not sure what to get him for his birthday. He's a quiet guy he likes music, computers,that kind of stuff i have no clue what to get anyone have any advice.

Ok so when i was growing up my dad was a pretty good man. He was a truck driver he had a decent job made a very decent living. after he left my mom for a much younger girl he quit his job and started his own business as a boat shop machanic. When things didnt work out with her i started noticing a change in my dad he started hanging around people i've never seen him hang around before. People who have been in trouble for drugs. My dads whole attitude about life in general is a total mess. He hasnt been much of a dad or grandparent to me or my son. My younger brother and him started having a relationship but come to find out my brother started using meth with him. i am very angry at my dad because i feel like he should grow up and be the adult. Last night i had a dream that my died had died and i was at his funeral and everyone was crying but me. I was mad at him. whats wrong with me? I feel like my dad died along time ago and i dont want to have these feelings for him

ok so i thought i'd give this a try. My son is 4 years old he got 3 guinea pigs for his birthday this year one from my mom and 2 from my brother. he also got a new dog wich now i have 3 he dosent have much to do with the guinea pigs and i'm ending up doing everything. They are so cute and sweet i just dont have alot of time for them. ok one of them (chucky) goes by himself i have a cage for him and all his accesories the other two (moe and red hairy) have a huge cage that go with them. they go toether they grew up together and hate to be seperated. they are adorable.
