I took the name because I always like the song because of my love then and now for football.. Backfield in motion gonna have to penalize you, backfield in motion you know that's against the rules (Song) forgot who sung it..

The backfield is the RB and QB or anyone behind the line of scrimmage. It is one of them going into motion - or moving out of the backfield.

It's when the QB calls an audible, or changes the play at the line of scrimmage. The RB leaves his position behind the QB to the line of scrimmage or he just switches sides in the backfield. Either way it's not illegal unless he goes offsides.
