Who DON'T you want to see win the Grand Final?

Definately DONT want the News Ltd STORM to go anywhere near winning (big ask i know) I am a Manly boy but i will be throwing all my support to the EELS cause they stood strong with Manly in that crazy old Super League War that nearly sent Manly broke and nearly sent ARKO and John Qualle to their graves , I for one will never forget that dark time in OUR game , thats why I hope the EELS come away with a great victory for themselves their fans and for Sydney!!! so GO PARRA !!! next Sunday.

I don't want Storm to win - not because I hate them, or anything, but because they have been there the 3 previous years, have won 2 Premierships since it became the NRL in 1998, and Parramatta haven't won once.

Gave me great joy when my team won last year, and as the Storm supporters have already had a taste of that joy (twice), it would be nice for the Eels supporters to experience it.

I believe in spreading the joy around!

who i dont want to win reasons: storm have already had 3 chances in a row at a premiership, and only came out on top once, and i am not not cameron smiths 'biggest fan' :). lol i just don't like melbourne, im a sydney boy. cant really think of too many reasons.

i would love to see parramatta win a premiership from 8th place, and for daniel mortimer to show that he is better than brett finch. watching parra play is so exciting, anything can happen at anytime. i still see parramatta as the underdogs because they finished 8th, so that is another reason to go for them.

@bill p: the afl grand final was on yesterday, so maybe people didn't go to the melbourne/brisbane game because they were out celebrating geelongs win? that may be a reason why not many people went...

All the EEls need to do is to keep Nathan Hindmarsh on the field for at least 65 minutes

I dont want to see Parramatta win as i am a storm supporter and was one of the 27 odd thousand who went to cheer them last night

However, if storm hadnt made the grand final i would have loved to see Parra win it , especailly coming from where they have mid season is a fantastic effort , also i think that Nathan Hindmarsh should get to play in a premiership side before he gives it away. No one deserves one more than he does, a great model and champ of the game

i did read in an article last week that bronco fans would be staying away (although i did count 3 of them) as the costs were to great to get to melbourne as well as accomodation etc , where prices have doubled or tripled due to it being AFL grand final weekend , so it was a fantastic effort to get the crowd we did

Yeah the Eagles are lookin stable , Stewart is a huge loss yet i think of they are in a position to conquer that with Rodneys versatility, i do no longer see hurricane as a concern for Manly and that i do no longer see the squaddies or Saints as a concern reason i think of they are going to play their final interest this weekend. i think of The Bronc's and the Tigers modern-day the main important undertaking to Manlys hopes the two very skillful and enjoying properly . yet so are Manly eh! shall we desire a dodgy ref's call do no longer pick it. i'm hoping that's a Tigers V Manly GF the two super interesting communities to computer screen, and shall we no longer forget approximately 2 very stable aggressive coaches, haha can purely desire flow MANLY!!!

Eels- Way too inconsistant for my liking.

Of course, the only team I would prefer to see in the final to Melbourne would have been the Bulldogs.

Bill: Well, the main reason for that would be IT'S MELBOURNE. That's the centre of AFL territory, you dolt. The fact that 1/3 showed up was miraculous. Considering how far away Brisbane is, and also considering that the other game contained two of the most popular Sydney teams in the biggest NRL stadium, of course they were going to have less people show up.

eliza: Fair enough. When Manly got out, I was celebrating. In the words of my father (Souths supporter) "No-one deserves it more".

I think that can be answered by looking at the crowds for the two games this weekend. Nearly three times as many fans turned out in Sydney than in Melbourne. Great work Storm supporters.

I would like the Eels to win, had they got beaten, then the Doggies.

Edit: ACC that is the point, that game would have drawn a much bigger crowd in Sydney or Brisbane than it did in Melbourne because it was played on AFL GF night. Why on earth organise a game when it will get little coverage anywhere in Victoria.

It's not that I 'don't' want the Eels to win, just that I'd rather see the Storm win.

This is the GF I wanted since Knights got knocked out. I honestly dont care who wins, its got the potential to be one of the greatest grand finals in history. Both teams have reasons to win, I just cant wait for it!
