Calculating precipitation question?
A lake has an area of 10 km^2. During a particular June the lake evaporation was 90 mm. During the same month the inflow to the lake from a river averaged 1.2 m^3/s and the outflow from a lake via another river averaged 1.1 m^3/2. Also, for the same month a water level increase of 100 mm for the lake was observed. Assume there are no other inflows and outflows. What was the precipitation during that month?
From this question, I am thinking that the answer is 190 mm. (90 mm evaporated and 100 mm stored). Is that correct?
