A) Excited - My team's closer rarely blows a game so I'm very confident.

B) Happy - He's very good but has known to blow a game or two.

C) Undecided - I'm not sure about him but he seems to do the job.

D) Worried - I get nervous when he enters because his track record isn't that good.

E) Angry - The manager of my team should be shot for putting this guy out there.

C'mon, its Papelbon, I NEVER feel happy when he comes in.

X- I'm not sure that this emotion even has a name. Any time Paps comes in it's bang my head against the wall-hold my breath-crack my knuckles-muttering under my breath that he doesn't give me a heart attack.

    G. I say that because I know Mo will get the save. It is a done deal. By the way, Mariano Rivera has never won any award. Ever. No MVP, No Cy Young, no Roberto Clemente, nothing. In my opinion, there should be a Fingers award or something for relievers. Mo has a 96% chance of getting the save this year- 44/46. And at one point, he had a stretch of like 37 (guess) straight saves. And one of his blown saves was in the first two weeks of the season. Seriously, when Mo comes in I can pretty much turn off my tv.

    A) Excited since Ryan Franklin has saved 38 games and only blown 5 opportunities.

    F) See ya in court kid! (I couldn't resist) Looks like you won't be watching the World Series as a free man this year. Start saving your allowances for a good defensive lawyer. One that can close the deal, kind of like the Mariano Rivera of lawyers. :P

Well Papelbon usually gets away with the save, but loads the bases.

So I'm excited when he comes in but worried when he loads them up.

    So A) and D)

Hmmm. JP Howell, something like 18 saves and 8 blown saves. I'll have to pick "D". I can't get angry because there isn't anyone else.

  • A) i get excited, and a little nervous. Pap is always caught in a jam it seems like

    Source(s): HRM
  • B) Brian Wilson usually gets the job done, but he also usually makes it pretty dramatic. I could do without the full counts and leadoff walks.

    (X) - As a Met fan it's thrilling to see the closer in the game since it means they actually may have the lead!
