how the bloody hell do i book a holiday on line when;?
they all want my credit card to pay for it. i don't own a credit card, i cut it up,, i have now got a visa/debit card.. but its damn useless to pay for a flight ticket
had no problem with a direct booking with emirate air line. but it is with the likes of opodo, expedia etc; if anyone can give me a reputable agency i can book with using my card, would be much obliged

I've used my Visa Debit card to pay for airline tickets with no problem.
You CAN'T use them to reserve a rental car. They want to know that you can pay for any damages if you wreck the car.
Hotels and cruise ships vary from company to company.
The problem is most likely the on-line service that you are dealing with.

You can't is the answer. But you could use a friends or parents card and give them the cash.

I think if u call travelocity,they may accept it.
Also I think yatra and makemytrip have a uk site,try to contact them.
