I'm going to a halloween party and the theme is dead famous, as a student i'd rather go in my navy uniform than buy a new costume, so now that know that richard gere is alive which 'sinks' my officer and gentleman plan are there any famous, dead fictional or real navy personal. no captain birdseye.

I hope that you are out because that is not authorized wear of a uniform. If you are out, please make sure that you remove and official navy insignia from your uniform.

How about Admiral Cunningham, who once famously said, "When the Germans are down, kick them in the guts." A real sailor who rose from the ranks, which is so typical of the Royal Navy, the only real meritocracy the UK has.
