convert 6.02 lbs to kg.?

convert 6.02 lbs to kg. if you could tell me what to do or what steps you would take that would be very helpful. thanks

    I always use 454 g = 1 pound

    Then 6.02 X 454g/lb = 2733.08g

    Divide by 1000 to get kg and you get 2.73308. Round that off, perhaps.

    6.02 lbs x 453.59237 Grams/1 lb x 1kg / 1000 grams.

    = 2.73 kg

    you want kilograms so turn lbs into grams first. 453.59237 grams in 1 lb. Now change grams into kg. there are 1000 grams in 1 kg.

    Set up the problem based on what conversion factors you know, such as there are 453.59 grams in a pound and there are 1000 grams in a kg so:

    6.02 lbs * 453.59 g/1000 = 2.73 kg

    divide 6.02 lbs by 2.2 lbs/kg

    answer 2.7 kg

    HK is nearly correct. 1 Inch =25.4 mm and 1KGm =2.2 Lbs

    first you have to dance

    then you divide 6.02 lbs by 2.2 lbs to get it to kg

    then u can dance again if u want to
