Work illegallly in Australia?

Do you think I can find a job in Australia while I visit it for three months with a tourist visa? I'm not Australian!

    Hello Peter,

You might be able to find a job while here on a Tourist Visa, but you will be working illegally and possibly being paid a lot less than people who can work here legally.

What you should consider is that if you are caught, you will be sent home and you will be denied re-entry for possibly 3 or more years. Do you really want that on your passport record at one of our airports??

This record maybe accessed by other countries who might later be considering you for a visa to their country. With a history of working while only on a Tourist Visa, other considerations are unlikely.

Do the right thing and come here for a holiday. Learn about Australia and perhaps a little about the trade or kind or work that you might like to pursue, but under a working visa.

There are some trades and skills that Australia is looking for in workers. Consider entering under business migration sponsored by an employer.

if caught you will be removed from here & baned from returning for at least 3 years
