why, what happened today where i live a lady died by falling asleep with a cigarette. Why is this upsetting me so much? i didn't know the lady.

    There's nothing wrong with empathy. Perhaps something in the story reminded you of a sad occurrence in your life.

    Maybe because it's something that could have so easily been prevented. Yet another way smoking has taken a life.
