"Better" is really a matter of personal preference. Epcot is a lot different the either Studios or Magic Kingdom. First there are two parts to Epcot, Future World and World Showcase. If you like the idea of traveling to other countries, you will really like world showcase since it will give you the feel of being in 11 different countries. You will especially like WS if you like food, some of the best restaurants in Disney World are there.
Future world has some cool attractions, but there is a real focus on teaching you something as you enjoy the attraction. The attractions are more grounded in reality then the pure fantasy of Magic Kingdom. If you do FW check out Soarin which really gives you the feel of flying. If you like thrill rides then try Mission Space, one of the most intense rides in all of Disney World.

Epcot only has two thrill rides in my opinion: Test Track and Soarin. Many people will disagree with me but I tend to find Epcot a half day park. Most of the park is just their world showcase which is walking around the different "countries", eating and shopping in the different cultures. Most of the other rides at Epcot are educational and slow moving. Magic Kingdom is by far the best out of the four.

Both are great! If you have smaller children I would say the Magic Kingdom would be better. If you have older children or just going without children Epcot is your best bet. There is so much to do at both. Even if you're not bringing the kids, you still can't go wrong visiting the Magic Kingdom. It's a win-win all the way. For the best weather and least crowds, try and go in mid to late October.

Go to Magic Kingdom. At Epcot they have it set up so its like walking through different countries. So you can taste different foods and experience culture. They have only a couple of good rides. And I agree, Epcot is good if your planning on spending only a half day there.

You should visit epcot in the morning for a few hours then take the monorail over to the magic kingdom. That is if you have a ticket that allows you to park hop. If not I would say just do the magic kingdom.

Why don't you do a half day at each place. Do Epcot first and if you don't like it, go to Magic Kingdom. if you like it, stay for the day. If you don't have a park hopper, then i say go to Magic Kingdom as you know what you're going to get and won't be disappointed. Epcot is more educational but fun at the same time, but if you're just looking for fun, fun, fun, go to M. K.

I haven't been in a little while but when i went i loved epcot (it was actually my favorite) if you've already been to the magic kingdom a bunch of times try epcot

If you've already been to Magic Kingdom "a bunch of times", head over to Epcot! You MUST ride "Soarin'" and walk through World Showcase, and there are many, many other things to see and do.
Have fun!

Since you have already been to the Magic Kingdom, its worth exploring the Epcot theme park also.It is twice the size of MK and is divided into future world and world showcase. So depending on if you like the ideas of future world and hopping though different cultures, you can choose between MK and Epcot.
