Is it possible to be allergic to saké?

    Yes. You may either be allergic to rice or yeast. If you are allergic to the rice, you can't eat rice (obviously) but if you are allergic to the yeast, you can't eat stuff like bread, drink bear, wine etc. If you can eat/drink all of the above, then you probably aren't allergic to sake.

    Don't know for sure, but I think it would be possible if any of the rice protein is left after distillation. (it's the protein in things that cause the allergies, so no protein, no allergy.)

    But then, if you have a problem with it for any reason, you *could* just not drink it...
