Can I connect to a computer that isn't logged on, wirelessly?
I have a newer laptop that my son has forgot the password to, I was wondering if i could connect mine wirelessly to his without being logged on and recover some data. His computer has built in wireless networking.

No way that will work. Talk to the store that sold the laptop and get them to bypass the password. Or talk to your local ethical hacker to break into the laptop and then you can change the password.
