does wood glue stick to paper?
I put glue on the bottom of something like a cereal box to close it back, and set it on its bottom. will it stick?
ok thanks! well its kinda like cardboard/strong paper. lol whatever cereal boxes are made of.

No because the box is painted and coated. Wood is porous. The box is basically sealed cardboard so the glue will dry but it will not have the bond needed to stay attached to the cardboard for very long once stressed. Tape might be a better alternative.

It should be fine. Most commercial wood and paper glue is made from PVA.

Yeah it should. Wood glue is supposed to be stronger than regular glue meant for paper. It should be fine. :)

yes, but it is formulated especially for wood to wood. Don't forget that paper comes from trees after all.

it should, however, I would have used plain old cheap white or clear school glue (Elmers is best) or just taped it closed... hint, cardboard is made from trees, trees are wood.....
