Both my dogs love to lick me!?

Whenever i am sat down with them, both my dogs start to lick me . It's usually on the arms or hands. Is this just a sign of affection or is it a 'pack leader' sort of behaviour?

All dogs lick, that sounds perfectly fine to me. It is their way of showing affection.

    Can be various things.

Our skin is very salty, if they have a lack of salt in their food they might be getting their fix from your arms.

A few licks is a sign of affection and/or an act of submission and/or a way to get more attention from you.

But if it's excessively done then i think it's more my former guess than my latter.

Never hurts to look into their diet.

    Neither.

I think it is a bad habit, a bit like someone picking their nose.

A quick slurp in meeting is ok, but compulsive licking shouldn't be tolerated really.

It means your salty. And dogs like that.
