What can we all do to help the young generation of African-American children?

Teach them about FAMILY VALUES. A strong Black family. Tell the black boys to quit chasing white girls. Tell the black girls to get their boy and keep them. Teach them about the negative effects of interracial breeding and how it destroys the genetics of all races.

Your question and your statements here have no base, there are many other young Americans that are doing the things you are saying here, isn't just a problem of the African Americans only, is a problem that every ethnic group has. Is David Hasselhof (I'm not sure if the last name spells like this, the Bay Watch guy) black? No, is Britney Spears black? No, Is Lynsey Lohan black? No. Is not even a matter of money or social status, is a matter of decisions. Sorry lady, but you should re-ask your question. There are many black people who are a good role model for our society. Color got nothing to do with it.

The solution seems clear and simple but the chorus of "That's racist" is too loud and persistent to get anything of any benefit to anyone done.

We don't like to talk about how segregated schools produced better academic performance among blacks who often times excelled past their white counter parts during that era. We also don't like to talk about how in the poorer black populations how the welfare state has structured the system to provide economic incentive that discourages nuclear families.

We also don't like to talk about how in this country in general how the mindless self indulgence of our consumer culture effects all races and fosters selfish values which also erodes morality and the strength of the family for all. It should be noted that consumerism is not the same as capitalism by any stretch of the imagination.

Another aspect that is unpopular to discuss is that perhaps the criminals should not be so readily welcomed back into the community. If they are not pariahs in their own community what exactly is the deterrent to criminality.

Consider that among native Americans it was often times the harshest punishment available to be cast out of the tribe.

Ship them back to Africa so they can know like the Native Africans already know of how GOOD they have it in the USA..

The African American fathers leave the mothers because during slavery they weren't really known for taking care of children, they would have children in different places (Natural selection) they didn't even know about..

Their sons/daughters would obviously become slaves and this was a trend that went on for a few centuries....
