Hi, I would try Budget Flights if you're looking for a hotel. They search over 30+ hotel websites at once including the big ones like octopus travel, expedia and hotelclub etc and give you the best result in one go from each.
You can then refine your search by property star rating, facilities such as a pool, distance from attractions (there's a drop down box) etc etc.
They also have a rather comprehensive booking engine for hostels and backpackers which give full reviews of each property so can select the one you want and book online if you're looking for something a little cheaper still.

You should try this website called www.cheaphotel-s.com. I came across it during my last trip. It was very usefull since I was able to compare prices from many different hotels within an area. Then it gave a further comparision between the prices offered by various established travel sites. You will end up getting the best rates and its for free.
Have great trip.

there are quite a few sites that you can search that will likely show you great hotels at the best prices available. check out the website BookMe and you will be able to compare prices on all the reputable travel sites in just a couple minutes. it's very convenient and will save you a bunch of time and money. Also, make sure you buy them online... otherwise they charge much higher fees for phone orders. good luck.
