Having a problem with my computer..?
Im having a problem with my computer. When ever i try to download a file this thing pops up says chose a file you want to run it with. It never did that before. How do i get rid of it.

When you download a file you get two choices, either to save the file or to run/open it. If you save it, then you won't get that question.
But, if you want to open it (run it), then if it is not a .exe or .com file then it needs to be run in some program that is on your computer.
For example, if it is a .wmv file, it is audio or video and needs to be run in the Windows Media Player, or Quicktime, or something that plays audio and video.
If it is a .pdf file, it must be opened in the Adobe Acrobat Reader or some other reader that reads .pdf files.
In Windows, there is a place where you can associate the "default program" with file types. Evidently that has changed somehow.
The easiest solution is every time that you get that message, ask it to give you a choice, pick the correct one, then tell it to always open files of that type with that program.
You can't just ignore it - Windows needs to know what program is associated with that file type in order to run it, i.e. watch the video or read the pdf file.
