It is easy to answer using a driver from a top team, obviously guys like Kyle Busch or Tony Stewart or Joey,Jimmy etc etc. But real talent also comes with lots of experience. Mark Martin is a great driver. So is Joe Nemechek. Put Joe in a top team fully sponsored and he would be in the chase and probably have the most poles. Just because the Media loves you, and you have all the sponsorship and the best equipment that money can buy doesn't automatically make you the best driver out there. I wish all teams had an equal amount of funding. Then we would answer this question properly.

Last I checked, there's still only one driver winning races in all 3of Nascar's top divisions. Kyle Busch. No other Nascar driver is doing it. Logano is an easy pick for 2nd on that list. I bet Kyle is glad Logano didn't run all the Nationwide series races this year.

kyle busch- he is going to be a multiple time champion before he retires.

joey logano- won a race his first year in sprint cup, at the age of 18.

tony stewart- he has raced how any different types of race cars and been a championship contender in all of them

Montoya should be considered here. Who else has a Indy, F1 and Nascar win?
