Could this be the start to a fierce rivalry between bruins and canes?

Not only did the canes beat the bruins in the semi finals last year, which is always a good way to start a rivalry, and the bruins are being relentless this game.

This game is full of penalties fights and huge hits and the bruins are out scoring the canes by 5 and not letting up on the pressure or physical play.

As i was typing this that hit on Cole (i believe) was NASTY. Clean, HUGE hit, spun him around twice before he hit the ice. On top of that the slow mo replay made my stomach in knots, the hyper extension on his knee was sick. Thats one of the few things i have trouble watching, knees or elbows being hyper extended.

That hit also made me forget most of what i was going to type, so...

Do you think this game will have any spill over on their remaining games together this season, or not.

It was Wideman that hit Cole, very clean hit and this rivalry has been going back to the Hartford Whaler days, and Paul Maurice was the coach back then.He used to send two! guys in after Ray Bourque after the puck was dumped in the B's zone to try to intimidate, wear out and physically pound Bourque.I think last year was a fluke, the B's were so high after beating the Habs they lost their focus on the Canes, won't happen again.

I think they had a great series last year, but the only way that this can become a bona fide rivalry anytime soon is if they play each other within the last couple of weeks of the season when their pushing for home ice in the Bruins case or a berth for Carolina. Failing that, a playoff matchup would work wonders for the young rivalry. The Bruins are in desperate need of a good one, as I believe the rivalry with the Canadiens is becoming a little one-sided and a 4-0 blowout was not the pick-me-up the feud was looking for.

a million) thinking LeBron has been to the Finals two times already(2011, 2007) and that his team of superstars are merely getting extra efficient and extra delicate twiddling with one yet another, i think of LeBron gets his ring first. I do have faith that Melo gets a hoop at last. 2) LeBron is extra efficient universal because of the fact he's the better athlete and can play the a million,2,3,4,and 5(no longer saying he's solid on the 4 and 5 yet he might desire to play them if genuinely needed), although Carmelo can score extra efficient. 3) till the Knicks get extra efficient defensively, Miami's massive 3 could have the extra efficient profession. although that's a frustrating call. base line, i think of LeBron is extra efficient for top now.
