Question about Boise St.?

I'm not hating on Boise at all.I think they are a very talented team..But i can't watch their home games.That blue field gives me a headache.Why is their field blue?Is it for an advantage or something?

    I'd have to say if it is hard for us to look at, imagine what it is like for the visiting team!

    It's a long standing tradition at Boise State. It doesn't hold a ton of significance. I will say on my hd tv those bright blue uniforms mixed with that field give me a headache. I usually don't watch their games though because quite frankly they don't play anyone credible.

    It is very distracting, but I think they did it to give them some personality. I wonder what would happen if the Longhorns had a burnt orange field. Easy on the burnt, of course! LOL

    I'm sure it was done to bring attention to the school and the football team. And it definitely has worked. I wonder what school will try something similar next?
