King Farouk's hunting trophy room. He stuffed everything he shot. Cats, mice, all sorts. Also a table made out of an elephants ear, and lots of other interesting things. It is in one of the parks on an island in the Nile in Cairo.
There is also a fun park called Pharohland. This is much better idea than going out to Ghiza and seeing the pyramids themselves, they are big square pointy lumps surrounded by aggressive con-men and smelling of horse dung.
Take a look around old Cairo. Believe it or not, there are maps of this quarter - though you will be lucky to find them!
You can (and should) visit the Coptic Quarter. The best place to buy souveniers is from the Church shops. If you take a look at the old synagogue, you will see the spot where tradition has it Moses was put in the bullrushes. ( it is a sort of drainage hole now).

1. You must go to the pyramids and sphinx of giza obivously!
2. You must visit downtown Cairo to see all of the old European architecture and experience the egyptian public
3. You must talk what is known as a "felucca" or a cruise on the Nile
