I live in Missouri (Kansas City) and in most supermarkets you can find a variety of peppers from jalepeno to poblano and everything in between. If you go to some ethnic markets near an area with a larger hispanic population, you can find even more variety.

If you are referring to the poblano pepper, yes! In Texas, we have lots of different peppers.
