Do bailiffs operate in Northern Ireland.?

I was recently told by a solicitor in Enniskillen that no bailiffs operate in Northern Ireland, and haven't done so for years, because they don't know who's door they could be knocking on. This risk of being shot was too high. Is this true?

As far as I understand it, court Bailiffs don't operate there, but Enforcement of Justice Officers do, which are basically Bailiffs by another name. Don't think that because they go under another name you're safe.
