I can't remember the name of this book...?
I read a book in 7th grade that I'm trying to remember but I just can't. It was about this boy who was traveling with his mother during WW2 on a boat when the boat was sinking and he got separated from his mother but was saved by an African American man from the Caribbean who happened to be working on the boat. When the boy wakes up from being unconscious he happens to be blind and the boy now has to survive on an island with man who he has never met before because he can't see.

wow sounds like a good book , sorry i dont know but tell be what it is if you ever find out...
a book that is slightly like that iscalled alone on the wide wide sea...very good you should read it :)
