I need help with a menu for a game night/tapas party! Vote for what you'd like!!!?
I'm having a big, fun game party at my home in a few weeks. A few girls are bringing some tapas-style appetizers to share, but I'm making most of the food. I want to make about 3 or 4 appetizers for the party, but have it be enough to feed about 20 people. Not fill them up, but just appetizers. Vote for what you'd like to see there!
*There will be a lot of vegetarians there, but not all vegetarians.
IDEAS:
1) Mussels with white wine, bleu cheese and crusty bread
2) Indian Curry with tofu and peas, naan, and rice
3) Medjool Dates with goat cheese and almonds
4) Chicken kebabs with morrocan spiced cous cous
5) Veggie Platter with bean dip (hummus, foul maddras)
6) Cheeses, strawberries, grapes, crackers
7) A mushroom pasta, served family style
8) Pizza served on a wood board, thin, with some kind of fun toppings, unique
9) ??? your idea

I would do Fondue - depending on what else you serve either
Cheese fondue with veggies & crusty bread or a
Chocolate fondue with fruits & angel food cake

I would love
* Pizza or some kind of flatbread--this is something that has endless possibilities
* Kebabs
* Hummus and veggie platter along with some warm pita bread

do not serve the mussels (notwithstanding stunning) they are going to be too messy. comparable for curry Serve 3/4 and5 those can all be mouthful length ( bouches) i'd shrink jewelry from a French Stick and unfold soft cheese on them, then a sliver of Smoked Salmon.A tiny sliver of lemon will garnish the fantastically.

heck for a crowd as you sound like you will have heck go with crock pot cooking all the way..so much one can do in a magical crock pot from meat ball sub's to home made chili ,to pulled pork sandwhiches.. hope you go with a good tasting chili in ones crock pot with a mix of slaw some corn bread ,etc,,,,,,good luck!!
