How long does alchohol(beer) stay in your system? Say I drank 8 from 2pm til 9pm?

I drink that amount everyday after work.We get drug and alchohol tested on a lottery. I go to bed at 9pm after eating and get up to go to work at3:30am. I am at work by 5:00am. Testing can start at 8:00am if your # is picked. So do you think there is still traces of alchohol in my blood?

1 regular 12 oz beer contains about 1 oz of alcohol. The liver processes alcohol at 1 oz per hour. So for every 1 beer you drink, the alcohol will be processed 1 hour later. So lets say you drink your 8 beers at 2 pm until 9pm. By the time you get up in the morning the alcohol will be out and you will be good to go. If you really want to be safe, just take a night off drinking. What bad can that do?
