A Levels your thought please!?

Has anyone taken A level Psychology and History? I would like to know what you thought of the courses. What were the good and bad points of it? I am just thinking about doing one or both of them at the mo, via homestudy.]

Thanks in advance for any answers.

I never took either of those myself but I know poeple who did. Psychology has a lot of case studies and a lot of people find it quite hard and History is a very indepth subject to take at A Level so I think they are both quite taxing subjects. But if you enjoy them, then choose them.

Hey there unfortunately I cant comment on A level history but I can say that A level Psychology is absolutely amazing I'm half way through the course at this moment in time and I have to say I am having a blast the amount of things you learn about the way you and others make your decisions, say thing the way you walk talk act everything theres just so much to it than people think I say its a truely amazing subject bad points are unfortunately its very difficult to find many jobs where the qualification makes a difference with our current economic climate and another bad point is its a rather difficult subject really like most are and also the length of the course but to be honest the pro's are extremely bigger than the cons I mean if you think about it the length of the course is long which is actually better off even thow it doesnt seem that way you get plenty of time to study and learn everything you can plus by the time you finish the course maybe the economy will be getting back on track :) either way if you want to do it go for it

Why do people buy blatant lies and propaganda full of straw-man arguments as "fair and balanced" news? NOBODY in this country supports "communism". Really. You've been duped and played for a fool. Do you like being played? Keep watching Fox then. @ Jordan King - the point is that nobody in our education system is indoctrinating anyone with "Communism" or even socialism for that matter. But social democracy is not anti-capitalist, and is what we had in this country during our golden age, from the 1940s through the '70s, when America's middle-class was the envy of the world. But for the last 35 years or so we've been trading that for "free market" social Darwinism, with the result that America is turning into a third-world country, where 1% own everything, and the rest of us will be poor. That's very bad for capitalism, by the way.

Took psychology. Only been doing it 3 and a bit weeks but absolutely LOVING it. There's a lot to remember but that's the same for all A Levels. I find it really interesting and you can apply the knowledge to life. Hope this helps x

firstly I love your name! I take history. It is hard but you learn a lot and it's very useful in uni to pub quizzes. It depends what teachers you have for it as well. Psychology is easy. It's just learning. I don't like doing that though, I like to think about things but it's easy so you might want it. Though it's an awful lot of work for such an easy subject.

i took psychology and loved it! ive not taken history but its a good one to have as loads of other subjects reflect on it. For example i took literature and there was a massive bit on the war.
