I need a recommendation for my 8 month's old runny nose. I have used the saline spray, but I noticed it made it worse!! What can I pick up from the drug store to dry it out??

They say best to let it run get out what needs to come out. Those nasal sprays otrovin etc thin nasal skin if used regularly. If persists longer than 2wks they say might be bacterial and need antibiotics but at that age even still doctors are reluctant. This is just advice and in no way replace GP opinion. But if it is running just use tissues and dispose and all hygeine tips wash hands etc NOT gels on bubba. If fever or longer than 7 days I'd go doctor. Panadol no longer than a day or two - little livers find it hard to break it down. Always go to doctor and use as little as you can. Ring 1300 health or 13health? for online help (one number is free try both to see) this helped me piece of mind greatly.

i suffer from severe migraine headaches aswell. Once i have a headache i have to lie down in a dark, quiet room away from everybody. I usually vomit heaps before my headache kicks in, i lose vision in both eyes and my speech becomes severley slurred. My Doctor told me that i was suffering from dehydration however it still comes around even when my fluids are up. There could be many causes for your headaches right down to things such as lights used in you house/work. Frequencies around your house/work or even the weather, sometimes a change in air pressure could alter your internal head pressure giving you headaches. Talk to your doctor and see if you can establish the causes of your headaches, mine came down to dehydration and heatstroke, you may be surprised what the cause is. if your doctor can't determine it seek second opinions

I just thought this was funny because I have been wiping my son's nose all day. I mixed children's tylenol cold with antihistimine in his juice and it seems to have helped. He is 1 1/2, though, so check the label for your little one.

A humidifier, making sure your baby is well-hydrated by continuing to breastfeed or drink her baby formula. If she doesn't seem to be drinking as well, give her a few extra ounces of an electrolyte solution such as Pedialyte, with or instead of each feeding.
