It's all a matter of opinion. Is he one of the best rappers all time? Easily. You don't have 11 number one albums and not be what that represents. But there is no such thing as the best of all time. The best applies to categories. Such as, KRS-One can be considered of the best ever in Conscience Hip Hop, but in HIS generation, and for this generation Nas can take that title. Ice Cube is one of the greatest gangster rappers of his era, but in this day, that title can be taken by 50 Cent. There's too many nuances and discrepancies in hip hop to have a best ever. Because what's good to one person may be total garbage to the next.

I'm not gonna be as harsh as some of you guys. I agree he's overrated but he's still like 15 or so on my list.

Very few rappers have 3 albums as good as Reasonable Doubt, The Black Album, and The Blueprint.

he is overrated and has a lot of bad songs but in the top ten just for how rich/successful he has become, plus he doesnt right down his lyrics wich is pretty ill if its true

Somewhere in the top 35 or so. His good albums are phenomenal and his bad albums are terrible so that brings him down.
