Ladies assaulting men. All opinions needed to solve arguement?
Okay we were discussing sexual problems and it came down to men abusing physically women. We know thats wrong. Women abusing men, also wrong BUT the fine line presented itself was a women confronting a man and beginning to hit him. Some lady said its the mans duty as a man to walk away from it, maybe even report her to the cops but he really shouldn't because he is a man. A man felt that if a woman confronts a man in a physical nature, she should be dropped like a man would drop any other man or assailant in order to figth off his attacker no matter what their sex is.
I added to him that, I felt that women today are more aggressive and feel that they can be more freely confrontational with men hiding behind their sex when its convenient to them. My wifes eyes are buring through me as we speak. lol
Whats your take on this subject?

People shouldn't be going around hitting each other.....period. A women hitting someone is childish...at best. It's as wrong for a woman to hit a man as a man hitting a woman.
Within *reason*....if a woman hits a man, she should expect one right back.
I agree with the concept of a gentleman, however, that assumes the woman is acting like a lady. Once that line is crossed, then the next step can be taken.

When physically confronted by a woman, a man should use only enough DEFENSIVE force as is necessary to get her to stop hitting him.
Only if the man is so physically weak that he is in danger of being beaten unconscious by the woman should a man ever strike a woman.
There are no exceptions to this rule.

You wife's eyes should be burning through her gender mates that actually do that.
It really isn't one way or the other.
No one has an inherent right to hit anyone.
If someone hits you then you do have an inherent right to drop them.
If they do hit you, and you do drop them, they can't then say you shouldn't have defended yourself because they are a woman.
Either you want equal rights, equal respect and equal treatment or you don't. Any middle ground is acknowledging that equality isn't possible.

If a person strikes another person in anything except self-defense, it is assault and is a crime that should be reported. Any person who is being attacked should defend themselves from their attacker before notifying the police of the assault.
If you will notice, I do NOT have separate rules for men and women. I believe in equality. I do not believe in certain laws/rules for men and then other laws/rules for women. I have one standard for everyone. I don't believe in double standards. I believe in equality---not special privileges.

people shouldn't hit each other.
but if one is stronger than the
other and is the one doing it
they will surely be frowned upon
