Help with nuclear radiation?

For each of the following I have to say whether they have a 'long' or 'short' half-life:

-Alpha

-Beta

Alpha, beta and gamma radiation are all ways that a radioactive element can decay. The half-life depends on the actual isotope—they're all different.
