should i see a doctor if i want to lose so much weight?

im 5'6 and 260 and i want to drop down to 160 so should i talk to a doctor before i try this?

    Its always advised to talk to your doctor before beggining a diet and exercise program. You may have an illness you dont know about such as diabeties or anything else. They'll give you an overall check up and just go from there. He can give you a good diet and exercise program also and help track your weight loss and alter your needs as you lose weight. So basically, they can be your best friend ESPECIALLY when it comes to weight loss! Good luck :)

    I think you should definitely talk to a doctor. That is ALOT of weight you want to lose and it could cause problems if you don't have a good diet plan from your doctor, or it just might cause a problem because of how large of a number that is.

    However, I'm very glad to hear you're going to lose all that weight!! And the weight you plan on going is very healthy for someone of your height!!

    I would talk to a Dr. before you start this journey. Just to make sure you are healthy enough to be on a strick diet. Good Luck and you can do it:)
