my lip keeps swelling up and I dont know why?
about a month or so ago my upper lip lip started to sell up. I thought maybe something stung me. I didnt know what was going on with it. the swelling went down by the end of the day but ever since then my lip will swell up when ever. sometimes its my whole upper lip sometimes its just half of my lip. has this ever happen to anyone or does any one know why?

This used to happen to me when I was a teenager. It is an allergic reaction, and could be from a food, but not necessarily. My family thought I was allergic to turkey, then ham, as it would always happen during extended family get-togethers. It turned out to be an emotional reaction to family stress - but the treatment was still Benadryl, as in an allergic reaction. (I outgrew it.)

since you've tried the OTC meds that might treat this without effect, see your doctor.
