  • TMJ surgery?

I am planning on have surgery for my TMJ. After doing some reading up on others experiences, I have found that it did not work for them or it just made things worse. I am having enough pain on my own now. headaches, nerve and muscle pain in my face and gums. That is not even when I move my jaw. I have tried every mouth piece that I could fine and all of them just made it worse. I am on pain meds for all of this but it seems not to work as well lately.

I am wondering if anyone knows the success rate of this surgery?

  • what side effects did you have with trigeminal neuralgia surgery?

I had surgery 3 weeks ago for trigeminal neuralgia. after surgery almost all my pain had gone away but I am not hearing very well through my ear. It sounds like water is on my ear and I can not get it out. Also at times I feel a lot of pressure in it. The doctor said it could take a couple of days to a couple of weeks for me to hear again. My mouth and tongue feel numb and tingly. Another symptom the doctor said that could take days to weeks to heal. I know this surgery for me is not 100% success. I am wondering is there anyone out there that had the same or similar symptoms after surgery and if these problems went away for them? I am feeling really horrible and I just want to see the light at the end of this tunnel.

  • Homeschooling, pros and cons?

I am considering Homeschooling my 15 yr old daughter. We are moving out further into the country side, and the closest school is a good distance away. I am not sure if bus service will reach out that far and she is even up for being home schooled. She has struggled in the past with school work, also she has an IEP for math.I thought I maybe able to take her to sylvan for the math issues, but I am worried if this may be to much for me since I have never done this before.

Is there any suggestion about homeschooling or advice? Is this something I should even pursue with a 15 year old?

    thanks

  • What are all the bills in debt-to-ratio calculation?

I keep looking at all these debt ratio calculators to try and figure out my percentage, but they all ask for mortgage, credit card, loans and car loans. Then the last question is all other bills? So what bills do I include in this? do I include my cell, electric, water, car insurance? can any one tell me what bills exactly do banks calculate?

    thanks

  • How does house auctions work with financing?

I am just wondering how financing works if I want to get a house from an auction? I see on auctions.com where they explain how their auctions work. I am not really understanding the last part. This is what it says:

Winning bid = 100,000, plus $5,000 buyers premium (5% of winning bid amount) = final selling price of $105,000. Total down payment due at signing = $5,250 (5% of $105,000) less your cashiers check remaining to be paid by personal check.

So my question are; Can I use a home loan that I am approved for at an auction? What dollar amount do I need when the auction is over? Do I need the full amount for the house or just the 5%? If I need the full amount of the bid in cash, will the bank give me a check for the house?

If anyone can answer these that would be great. and if there is any other information that would be helpful to me too would also be great thanks.

  • security warning with internet explorer?

I have window 7, had it for a while now. I have not done anything different to my computer but all of a sudden this security warning pops up everytime I go to one of my account web sites. for example if I go to look at my cable bill this security warning pops up on everypage or my bank account. it asks me "do I want to view only the webpage content that was delivered securely?" if I hit yes or no it goes through, but like I said this just started happening and I have been going to all these sites for a long time, so they are not new.

Is there a way I can disable this option so it will stop popping up?

  • why was Obama not here?

the Afghanistan president was here at Fort Campbell this past friday. Apparently Obama did not come with him. Why not? He allowed a foreign president come to one of our military post alone. not only that but when most of our soldiers are deployed at the time. why is this not in question and why was our president NOT here?! I don't care if this guy was here to say thank you or not. If he wants to say thank you to our soldiers, then he needs to say it to them where they are at right now, in his country.
