security warning with internet explorer?
I have window 7, had it for a while now. I have not done anything different to my computer but all of a sudden this security warning pops up everytime I go to one of my account web sites. for example if I go to look at my cable bill this security warning pops up on everypage or my bank account. it asks me "do I want to view only the webpage content that was delivered securely?" if I hit yes or no it goes through, but like I said this just started happening and I have been going to all these sites for a long time, so they are not new.
Is there a way I can disable this option so it will stop popping up?

Yes there is .........................
Go to tools........internet options... ...click on security then custom level.
Scroll down to miscellaneous section and then the heading..Display mixed content.
Click on the"enable" radio button ....yours should be on "prompt i think.
Once you have made your selection click the OK button, then the Apply button, and then the OK button to close Internet Options.
Restart your browser for the changes to start working. You will no longer get the prompt if you changed to Disable or Enable

That's a glitch in IE7. Some people can live with it, most can't. My best suggestion is to uninstall IE7 and let it revert back to IE6. Later next year, the bugs will be out of IE7 but right now, it's hard to live with. To uninstall, click on Start, Settings, Control Panel, Add/Remove Programs and the Show updates at the top. Then the list loads, scroll down until you find IE7, and click to remove. After removal, close Control Panel and restart the computer. It will revert back to IE6 and I think your problem will be gone.

I have a Vista PC and it does the same thing on many sites. I've just learned to live with it.
